- Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account on www.go-marketingschool.com (the “Forum”), you
acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms
and Conditions (“Terms”), our [Privacy Policy], and our [Cookies Policy]. If you do not
agree, do not register or use the Forum. - Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of consent for data processing in your
country) to register. By registering, you confirm this. Users under 16 cannot register
without verifiable parental consent under GDPR Article 8. - Account Registration
● You must provide accurate, current, and complete information (e.g.,
username, email address).
● You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
● One account per natural person unless explicitly approved by Go Marketing
School.
● You may register using a pseudonym, but you must provide a valid email
address for account recovery and legal notices. - User Conduct & Content Rules
You agree not to:
● Post illegal, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or discriminatory content.
● Share another person’s personal data (“doxxing”) without consent.
● Spam, advertise without permission, or distribute malware, trackers, or
phishing links.
● Impersonate another user, public figure, or Go Marketing School.
● Attempt to bypass account suspensions or bans.
Violation may result in immediate suspension, termination, and, where legally
required, reporting to law enforcement. - Ownership Transfer & Sale of the Forum
Go Marketing School reserves the right to sell, transfer, or assign the Forum
(including its user database, posts, settings, and associated intellectual property) to
a third party at any time.
5.1 What transfers in a sale
Upon sale, the following may be transferred to the new owner:
● Your username, email address, hashed password, registration date, IP logs (if
retained), profile information, and all content you posted.
● Anonymised analytics data.
5.2 Your rights before a sale
● Opt-out of data transfer: If you do not want your personal data transferred to a
new owner, you must delete your account before the sale closing date. Go
Marketing School will announce a “final opt-out deadline” at least 30 days
before any sale via site-wide notice and email to registered users.
● How to delete: Go to Account Settings → Delete Account or email
info@go-marketingschool.com with “DELETE FOR SALE OPT-OUT” in the
subject line.
5.3 New owner obligations
The buyer must agree in writing to honour this Privacy Policy and these Terms until
they provide at least 30 days’ notice of any material changes. The buyer becomes
the new data controller under GDPR/CCPA upon transfer. - Intellectual Property
● You retain ownership of content you post.
● By posting, you grant Go Marketing School (and any future owner) a
non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to display, distribute,
moderate, archive, and sublicense your content as needed to operate the
Forum.
● You may request removal of your content when you delete your account. - Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
● The Forum is provided “as is” and “as available.”
● To the maximum extent permitted by law, Go Marketing School and future
owners are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
including loss of data, revenue, or reputation.
● Total liability for any claim shall not exceed £100 or the equivalent in your
local currency. - Termination & Account Deletion
● You may delete your account at any time without reason via Account
Settings → Delete Account.
● Upon deletion: Your personal data is erased within 30 days, but anonymised
posts may remain (username replaced with “[Deleted User]”).
● Forum owner termination: We may suspend or terminate accounts for
violating these Terms. You will be notified and may appeal within 14 days. - Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
● For UK users: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
● For GDPR purposes: The data controller is Go Marketing School. You have the
right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office
(ICO).
● For CCPA purposes: California residents have the right to contact us at
info@go-marketingschool.com.
● Disputes: Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be resolved through
the courts of London, UK. - Changes to These Terms
● Go Marketing School or future owners may update these Terms. Material
changes (e.g., data usage, sale terms) will be notified via:
○ Site-wide banner for at least 30 days, and
○ Email to registered users.
● Continued use after the effective date means acceptance. If you do not
accept, delete your account before the new effective date. - Contact Information
